Turner Partners Architecture of Houston, Texas, is announcing completion of the Cathedral Centre project located at 1700 San Jacinto in downtown Houston, Texas.
The Centre is a part of the Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral Church's Parish development, transforming a 97,000-square-foot building formerly occupied by the Federal Reserve Bank. The four-story facility is neighbor to the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston's chancery and near the new Co-Cathedral worship space.
By Christmas, the Centre will start operating a new parish hall, pastoral and administrative offices, parish library, work rooms, media rooms, classrooms, bookstore, cafeteria, gift shop and coffee bar. The parish's increasing young membership will find support with a new nursery and child care center, youth and adult ministries areas, choir rooms; and additional parking. Fretz Construction is the general contractor for the project.
Turner Partners has recently earned second ranking in Texas among the Top Design Firms for Worship/Cultural Projects by McGraw Hill - Texas Construction Magazine.
