Tornado, a manufacturer of professional cleaning tools and equipment, is introducing a new floor and carpet cleaning system. The BR 13/1 MW, is a new multi-wash system, essentially two machines in one. Incorporating advanced cylindrical brush technology, it is designed to clean carpets and hard-surface floors, including tile and grout.
The BR 13/1 MW is engineered with twin, counter-rotating brushes the company says dig deep into carpet fibers and deep-clean hard-surface floors, especially grout areas, loosening and removing soils. It can also be used to clean escalators and similar "grated" floor surfaces.
According to Tornado's Mark Cuddy the ergonomically designed BR 13/1 MW is specifically designed for hospitals, schools, hotels, restaurants, offices and similar facilities. Ergonomic features include an adjustable handle which folds to clean under desks and furniture, easy to reach controls and an exceptionally quiet motor. "This means the BR 13/1 MW works with the cleaning worker, minimizing fatigue and improving worker productivity," says McCabe.
Using low-moisture, encapsulation technology, it can be used to "green-clean" carpets. More information about the BR 13/1 MW will be available in upcoming months. "We are very proud of this machine," adds McCabe. "It's versatile, multi-tasking, and because it cleans two surfaces not just one, it is a true cost saver as well."
