Strategos International Introduces Intruder Response Training for Churches

Strategos International now offers Intruder Response Training for ministries wanting to prevent violence in places of worship and be prepared if such an event should occur.

Strategos International was founded in 2002 to provide programs and training to law enforcement and military personnel, based on real-world scenarios with a staff of former law enforcement and military trainers. Strategos has trained over 7,500 law enforcement and military professionals all over the world since 2002. Strategos now brings that expertise and experience into its Intruder Response Training programs.

Intruder Response Training features seminars and consulting in areas of Inter-Faith Intruder Response, School Intruder Response, and Workplace Intruder Response. The mission of Inter-Faith Intruder Response training is based on Matthew 10:16, "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves."

The Intruder Response Strategos team interacts directly with church leaders, business administrators, facility managers, Sunday school leaders, and youth directors to identify liabilities, develop policies and procedures, work with law enforcement, and train private security personnel. They also provide an overview of church facility security, surveillance systems, plans for medical emergencies, and programs/policies for nursery and Sunday school security.
