According to its distributers, a new Dyson Airblade can save facility managers with five Airblades more than $11,000 per year in paper and electricity costs.
Distributed by Cannon Hygiene USA, the Airblade actively filters incoming air to remove 99.9% of bacteria before blasting a blade of unheated air at 400 mph through an aperture the width of an eyelash.
An Airblade system costs less than $100 per year in electricity, based on 500 uses per day, an 80 percent savings over conventional heated hand dryers. Paper savings is based on the cost of a penny per paper towel/two towels per use.
In addition, the Airblade saves timedrying your hands in 12 seconds or less.
