Bretford AV Technology Carts and Tables

Bretford Manufacturing, Inc. is designing for the environment. Bretford www.bretford.com is unveiling production models of its three new AV technology cart lines, which are designed to safeguard the precious equipment they hold. Bretford is also introducing its latest RHOMBII reconfigurable training table options, now available with four legs and glides for greater adaptability in any professional environment.

“The facts are well-documented. Using green materials results in not only less waste, but also a healthier environment and, as a result, healthier professionals and students. For this reason, we continue to incorporate the safest possible materials into our furniture products,” explains Mikel Briggs, president of Bretford Manufacturing, “Bretford’s new technology carts and RHOMBII tables help professionals do everything from reconfigure their meeting space to extend usable equipment life.”

Bretford’s latest RHOMBII™ reconfigurable flip top tables, HERE™ flip top half-moon tables, double-sided ITHACA™ library furniture end panels and FREE™ round cocktail-height tables can now be specially ordered with a no-added urea formaldehyde (NAUF) core for improved air quality. The RHOMBII tables also have safer PVC-free edges, with more Bretford table lines available PVC-free starting August 1, 2009. Several of Bretford’s table models feature rapidly renewable bamboo as a special option for stronger, more lightweight tops and edges than those made from hardwoods. In addition, more than 88 carts, tables and accessories are GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Certified by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute. These models have achieved the GREENGUARD standard for low-emitting products and for the Children & SchoolsSM product certification program.

The new Intelligent Laptop Computer cart line features two products: a 20-unit model with horizontal storage and a 30-unit model with vertical storage. The carts incorporate a Power Management System (patent pending) or “brain,” which charges the laptops simultaneously, turns on color-coded LED lights to remind users what the cart is doing and even turbo charges a specific bank of computers for quick use.

Bretford’s Presenter’s Assistant for Learning (PAL) cart supports everything needed to make a successful presentation - such as a projector, a document camera, a laptop and more. The PAL cart’s small footprint means that it fits easily between a row of desks or tables, while the side-panel handles and four swivel wheels with locking brakes make the cart easy to transport. All equipment, including the projector, can be securely locked when not in use.

The NETBOOK32 Micro Computer Laptop cart gives schools an affordable way to manage the technology used in the classroom. This cart includes two shelves with eight compartments per shelf to hold up to 32 netbooks. Its 32-outlet UL electrical system has an automatic timer/charger unit to charge all netbooks using one circuit. This cart has ventilation holes on all sides for maximum airflow within, yet is made from durable steel with bolting doors and has a reprogrammable padlock to deter theft.

The RHOMBII training tables are universal in nature making them perfect for both business and education environments. They can be reconfigured in just the right way depending on the needs of the space, then folded and stored out of the way or moved into other locations within a facility. In addition to the T-base design and 2.5-inch casters, the tables are now available with four legs and glides for even greater adaptability to a room size or needs. Additionally, all RHOMBII tables now come with self-apply identification number labels to help keep the cables and power system in each table in sequence.
