Adesta, a systems integrator and project management company for communication networks and electronic security systems, is included in the top 20 of a recent annual ranking of the nation's top 100 security systems integrators, sponsored by Security Distributing & Marketing (SDM) Magazine.
"Being on the list for the sixth year in a row confirms that Adesta is a consistent company who is in it for the long-haul," says Bob Sommerfeld, President of Adesta. "We are looking forward to a very prosperous future and are happy to be a part of such a distinguished list of enterprising companies."
SDM Magazine publishes the list of top security companies once a year. The report ranks by revenue the largest firms that contract electronic security projects for commercial, industrial, institutional, government and other non-residential markets. These systems integration firms are businesses that derive more than half their revenue from the sale, design/engineering, installation and service of multi-technology electronic security systems, such as access control, video surveillance, alarms, perimeter security and other network-based technologies.
Adesta provides clients a wide variety of security systems including intrusion detection, access control, closed circuit television, video analytics, physical security, command and control centers, situation management, perimeter security including fencing and barricades, radar, sonar and counter-terrorism measures, along with integrated communication networks and infrastructure to support them. Adesta's security clients include many of the nation's largest ports and waterways, hydroelectric facilities, water and wastewater facilities, electrical utilities, petrochemical facilities, transit agencies, schools, corporate facilities and a variety of U.S. military facilities across the nation and around the world.
