Seamless Stage Extension Added at Calvary Chapel

To provide a larger space for holiday performances and scripture reenactments, Staging Concepts developed a custom stage extension for Calvary Chapel church in Hemet, California. This expansion was primarily needed to accommodate a large performance that would include many community members.

To construct this extension, multiple SC90® Platforms and SC90® support systems were used. Each platform was built with a black polyvinyl surface and a mill finish frame. To give the stage extension a clean and finished look, and conceal the empty space below the stage, black skirting was installed on the front and exposed sides of the added stage.

This custom configuration at Calvary Chapel can easily be set up and taken down by just a few people. The modular stage extension is intended to be efficient, adaptable, and most importantly, durable. When not in use, the stage equipment can be easily stored within the facility.

Stage extensions are a popular choice for worship venues because often stages are already in place in these facilities. Staging Concepts’ stage extensions are constructed to be a seamless transition from the current stage to the new stage, all while providing a surface that looks and feels permanent.
