WFX REACH Conferences in Raleigh NC and San Antonio

Accessible and Affordable Quality Education

ONGOING TRAINING, education and general exposure to new ideas are integral to any profession, and especially to those within the church.

Ministry done well is selfless, demanding and requires that you pour yourself out (2 Timothy 4:6, Philippians 2:17). Therefore, to remain effective and relevant, you must be refilled and rejuvenated spiritually, but also mentally and physically, sharpening your mind and ministry tools through study, exploration and community.

There are few who would deny the importance of this, but acknowledgement alone doesn't supply the opportunity, time or budget to provide it for yourself or your team.

There is one conference, however, or rather a series of conferences, that's making a differenceWFX REACH from the WFX Network.

WFX REACH Conferences are abbreviated versions of the annual Worship Facilities Conference and Expo (WFX).

Held in distinct regionsthe 2016 REACH Conferences are in Raleigh, NC, and San Antoniothese 1.5-day events are hosted by local churches, feature regional speakers and experts, and deliver valuable education and training in areas that are critical to a church's ability to grow and have greater impact on community.

According to Jim Wagner, general manager of the WFX and REACH Conferences, the REACH concept was born to ensure more churches have access to quality training and education, as well as networkingand not just any networking, but the opportunity to establish real connections with nearby churches facing similar challenges. "These things are so important for the health and growth of our churches," says Wagner. "REACH makes it easier to overcome busy schedules and budget constraints to receive the development we all need in order to be our best and give our best to the churches and ministries we serve."

Relevant and Focused Education

The Raleigh and San Antonio conferences will each offer four educational tracks:

Buildings, Communications and Media, The Evolving Role of Tech Directors, and Tech Teams.

The Buildings track will cover a gamut of facilities issueseverything from financing and site selection to designing for millenials and security concerns. Communications and Media sessions will focus heavily on digital media and the many opportunities it presents for churches to connect with people inside and outside of their congregations. The Tech Directors track will explore the complex role of tech and creative directors in the church and provide practical guidance on mastering the necessary skill sets. Finally, a track dedicated to Tech Teams will introduce innovations in audio, video and lighting, and provide a variety of rich ideas and resources for tech team members to take home and put into practice right away.

Individual sessions within each track will be facilitated by church and industry leaders from the respective regions and emphasize practical, ready-to-implement ideas and solutions for churches. Furthermore, many of the speakers will present in the context of the conference region, highlighting answers to questions that are specific to the Raleigh or San Antonio areas.

"We want these conferences to be transformationalfor attendees to feel renewed and leave with inspiration and ideas. This is good education for their teams, especially if they're unable to attend the annual Worship Facilities (WFX) Conference and Expo.

REACH provides great development locally and affordably," says Wagner.

Practical and Positive Connections

In addition to training and education, both REACH Conferences will host a Sponsor Showcase with approximately 30 tabletop exhibitors. Essentially a small-scale expo, attendees will be able to ask questions, view products, and survey solutions from sponsor companies specializing in products and services for the growing church.

Networking will also play a huge role in the REACH Conferencesin fact it's a central tenet of the WFX Network's vision for the events. "We want attendees to get to know one another and realize that whatever struggles or questions they have in their particular church or ministry function, they're not alone," says Wagner. "Our hope is that attendees leave energized, and also with new connections to reach out to close to home."

The 2016 WFX REACH Conferences will be held May 16-17, 2016, at Crossroads Fellowship Church in Raleigh, and May 19-20, 2016, at Westover Hills Assembly of God in San Antonio. Learn more or register for either WFX REACH Conference at wfxreach.com.
