Vivitek D735VX DLP Projector

Vivitek Corporation is now shipping its new D735VX projector built for home fun, professional venues and classroom settings. True to Vivitek’s DLP-only technology commitment the new D735VX uses the latest DLP technology from Texas Instruments and boasts 3200 ANSI lumens with BrilliantColor technology and a five-segment color wheel for exceptional brightness and vibrant hues. The new unit also has a snap-off keypad that can be removed and secured in a safe location to discourage theft or unauthorized removal of the projector.

“We built our new projector for a full selection of environments,” says David Chiu, Vivitek’s president. “All segments of the projector marketplace will be satisfied with the flexibility of the full feature set on the D735VX. In addition, the attractive price point makes it the newest value projector in the market as well.”

With a full 3W onboard speaker and zoom lens, the D735VX is designed for the larger boardroom, classroom, auditorium or home movies and games. The unique, detachable keypad also allows for natural, walk-around presentations. With an MSRP of $1,299, the projector has a 2400:1 contrast ratio with native XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) resolution.

In busy office, school or church environments where room times are at a premium the D735VX is equipped with Vivitek’s exclusive instant shutdown capability. This energy-saving feature allows users to immediately enable ON/OFF functions without wasted time during warm-up and cool-down periods, making for rapid and considerate start-ups and getaways when accommodating tight room schedules and without damage to the projector. The 7.8 pound unit is built dust- and filter-free, minimizing maintenance and replacement needs to keep the projector running at top energy efficient levels. The new projector also has a lower wattage Eco-Mode lamp setting that reduces brightness by approximately 20% for reduced energy use and extended lamp life up to 4000 hours.

The vertical digital Keystone correction feature allows users to quickly and easily adjust the screen image with consideration for the realities of today’s presentation environments. A full selection of connectivity features on the D735VX include video and PC compatibilities, a USB control terminal, and an RS-232C communication port for full integration into classroom or meeting rooms equipped with white boards or remote control systems.

Vivitek’s D735VX is available through authorized Vivitek dealers and distributors nationwide. The projector carries a 3-year limited warranty on parts and labor, a 1-year lamp warranty, and 5-year DLP chip warranty.
