Without properly monitoring your levels and stereo spectrum, you can lose perspective at what levels the listeners are receiving, and at worst, be completely out of spec for your streaming service.
A modern worship service can easily have dynamic range of 20-30 decibels in the room. If you were to use the same mix for your broadcast, the listener would constantly have to adjust their device’s volume.
If you are streaming from a separate mix, don’t forget to add the effects channel to your mixer, and then adjust the effects into the mix.

Provide consistency from shot to shot in your video work, with the goal of telling the story in a nondistracting way. It can even enhance the story you’re telling, with intentional camera work.
These days, you can use a phone, earbuds, a computer speaker or other device that your average listener would likely be viewing on, when deriving how to arrive at a mix.
