Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Products Division announces the XD95U, its new 3.3-pound pico-portable projector for presenters on the go. It has an estimated 3000-hour lamp life (in low mode), filter-free design and 2200 ANSI lumens.
Mitsubishi’s new pico portable XD95U allows users to present in a myriad of lighting conditions, even in rooms with the lights on and window shades open. With its quick-cooling instant shut-down feature, the XD95U also lets the presenter make a rapid exit after a presentation to accommodate tight classroom or meeting schedules.
“Often times meeting rooms are booked back-to-back and presenters need to pick up their materials and hardware and go,” says Wayne Kozuki, product manager for Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division. “The quick-cooling feature in the XD95U helps presenters get back on the road or to their desks with minimal delay.”
Mitsubishi's new XD95U XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) resolution projector uses Texas Instruments DLP technology, and comes in a small and compact design for easy travel. For easy set-up, color wall support allows users to select a particular surface color including light yellow, light green, blue, pink even blackboard. Once the color is chosen the projector automatically adjusts its output to create the best image possible for that background or base color surface.
"Our customers have come to expect excellence from Mitsubishi, whether from a large installation projector or a small, portable one like our new XD95U," says James Chan, senior director, product marketing, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Products Division. "We continue to offer a wide range of projectors, in all types of sizes, resolutions, and colors designed to meet specific needs of the marketplace."
The suggested retail price of Mitsubishi's XD95U is $1,495. The projector is available through authorized Mitsubishi dealers and comes with Mitsubishi's three-year limited warranty on parts and labor and a 90-day limited warranty on the lamp. The projector is also covered by Mitsubishi's Express Replacement Assistance (ERA) Program, a nationwide comprehensive service provided for units under warranty that offers next business-day replacement for down units.
