Over the past year, readers of Worship Tech Director had the opportunity to read hundreds of articles that were provided by nearly 60 writers for the site. As Site Editor, I thought that five articles that were very well written and performed very well, should be recognized.
The first piece that I thought to feature was a piece written by Debbie Keough, who previously had served as a tech director at a church in Aliso Viejo, Calif., and now works as a freelance audio engineer, based in the Orange County area.
Her article, posted to the site on July 20, was Volunteers and Consoles: Placing Volunteers in the Audio ‘Hot Seat’. The article provided an in-depth look at volunteers learning audio consoles.
Other articles that will be highlighted later this week will be pieces written by Brad Duryea, Director of Audio Technologies at Lakewood Church; Jeff Snyder, an audio contractor for Granger Community Church; Michael Scott, Director of Media Arts at Henderson Hills Baptist Church and Grant Norsworthy, Music Instructor for More Than Music Mentor.
For those who haven't yet had an opportunity to read "Volunteers and Consoles: Placing Volunteers in the Audio Hot Seat'" take the time to read the article here:
