Tightrope Media Systems, a leading broadcast equipment company that provides web-centric digital signage and broadcast automation systems, announces that it has expanded its nationwide Sales and Marketing team.
In response to rapidly increasing sales in 2009, Steve Israelsky has been promoted to vice president of sales and chief marketing officer. Steve will be responsible for the sales and marketing of Tightrope’s three product lines: Cablecast broadcast automation and video servers, Carousel digital signage and the Zeplay instant replay server for stadiums and production vehicles. Steve Israelsky joined Tightrope in 2007 after extensive experience with community media facilities and several national cable networks.
Tightrope has also appointed two regional sales managers. Kelli Smith has been hired as the southeast regional sales manager and will work out of the North Carolina office. Prior to joining Tightrope, Kelli Smith was the director of sales for a national broadcast automation company. Peter Tufigno has been promoted to western regional sales manager from manager of customer service and training. He brings extensive product knowledge and technical expertise to the sales team.
In addition, Brook Grubs brings over ten years of experience in training to her new position as the training and curriculum development lead. She will be responsible for creating training material and continuing the development of the training department.
Commenting on the expansion of the sales team, Steve Israelsky, VP of sales and chief marketing officer, says, “Tightrope Media Systems takes great pride in listening and responding to our customers and channel partners. We have online forums, chat rooms, employee blogs and messaging boards on our website and our technical support staff is the best in the industry. These additions to the sales and marketing team will ensure that we maintain excellent communication with all of our partners and customers.”
