Sennheiser Installed Sound Academy 2010 - Begins This Week in NC with Dates Through November

Classroom-style training session to focus on church applications for installed sound/systems integration business

This Wednesday and Thursday, the Sennheiser Sound Academy is offering a session on key practices, topics and trends in the installed sound/systems integration business at Elevation Church in Matthews, NC.

Co-leading the seminar will be Sennheiser’s Kent Margraves, national applications manager for Installed Sound, and Chris Phillips, market development manager. Over the course of his career as an audio professional, Margraves spent a decade as a professional worship audio director and mixer, while Phillips has had eight years of live and installed sound industry experience. This seminar will appeal to a wide array of sound professionals, including worship leaders, system operators, mixers and technicians. Additionally, the course will offer credit towards CTS certification renewal and is also useful as a refresher on key concepts and practices in live sound reinforcement. Course content will cover specific areas including:

•  RF wireless microphone and wireless personal monitoring systems design and applications

•  Distributed audio systems and systems for ADA compliance

•  Digital audio networking, microphone selection and system troubleshooting
