Engender introduces a new iPad Podium for classrooms and boardroom settings at church. With the new iPad video mirroring feature, a church leader's presentation can be lively and effortless at the same time, the company reports. The podium will hold an iPad version 2 securely, freeing hands to explore and to interact with the audience.
Engender iPad Podium weighs under 5 pounds and can be set up in less than one minute, the company says. The height is also adjustable from 3 feet to 5.7 feet. It comes with a padlock and accessories that allow you to optionally secure your podium to the fixture. The enclosure is specially coated to protect the iPad from scratches. You can also tilt the enclosure by as much as 170 degrees. The podium also supports both landscape and portrait orientations.
The cost is $150 for the all-in-one unit that can be used as floor-standing, desktop, wall-mount, or hand-held. The desktop and the wall-mount versions are $99 each. Prices do not include iPad and the HDMI adapter, which are sold separately at Apple stores nationwide.
