It's summertime, but we're not treading water. The staff at Worship Facilities Magazine is keeping both eyes and hearts on our Creator and moving boldly forward. We have a responsibility to be the resource that addresses and answers your church's design, building, maintenance and operations questions and concerns. It's our mission. And that means we don't stand still.
Sometimes in our quest to be your ultimate resource, we'll deal with what is -- tough economic times, well-established design components, or current expert advice on selecting a builder or designer to join you on your newest project. And sometimes we'll grasp a hold of vision -- what does the future look like according to what we're hearing and seeing as we travel around the country and learn about your melting pot of ministries and facilities. We're always asking, what might you need to know not just tomorrow, but 10 years from now?
Some of you know, but some may not, that we're the sister publication of Church Production Magazine, also published by Production Media Inc. (PMI). PMI is a virtual publishing company made up of publishing, creative, writing and sales professionals working from a series of offices across the country. We all have a heart for helping your ministries grow.
But we're more than magazines. You can find us online at www.worshipfacilities.com, and find stories and information there that you won't find in our bi-monthly print issues. Sometimes our online stories are case studies written by experts that serve churches, and sometimes they're fresh reporting from our staff or from our team of professional freelance writers. It's a veritable mix of ministry and building-relevant information that we work on updating daily. And did you know that you can follow us on Twitter? Facebook, too. We're using all the tools you use on a daily basis to keep in contact with your congregations.
We're also the official facilities magazine of WFX - Worship Facilities Conference and Expo. I've said it so many time, and yet some of our readers are still surprised at the connection. WFX is in its fifth year this year, and if you haven't attended yet, I'd highly recommend that you visit us in Charlotte, N.C., this October 28-30 at the Charlotte Convention Center. At WFX, just as in the pages of Worship Facilities Magazine, you'll learn about what is and you'll gain vision for the future.
