SNAP is an innovative new tool that makes cable management on trusses a, well a Snap! Compatible with all standard 2-inch (48-51mm) truss cords, SNAP is a plastic, single molded, highly flexible tool that attaches to your truss in seconds and uses a side holder to maintain order in your cables. The cable holder has a locking connector to ensure that cables don't fall out of place, and can be opened or closed with a single hand.
SNAP can hold cables of many sizes, from single core, up to standard Socapex multicore. An optional O-ring is available to secure single, or small cables in place within the standard holder.
One of the many smart things about SNAP is that it is highly robust and completely reusable. This brings with it huge benefits, from the time and cost saving of having to secure your cables with E-tape or zip ties, to having nice clean lines when your setup is complete, and not having to worry about cleaning adhesive residue from your cables once you get back to the shop.
Not only does this make it an environmentally sound solution, but it is also cost effective, normally paying for itself within a single show.
SNAP also provides a handy way of putting wire rope around a truss cord, but without damaging the cord itself, and ensuring that the wire rope stays in place. A handy cutout has been designed into the product to allow for this specific use, adding further to its capabilities.
Using a non-scratch design that won't damage painted trusses, SNAP is available in multiple colored options, along with the standard black and silver, to match in with any system.
Since its initial launch to the market, SNAP has become an invaluable tool for many house of worship environments, where the ability to place and then remove cables in a fast and easy fashion has been seen as a huge time saver. The fact that SNAP keeps cables clean and free of tape residue is helping to ensure that technical personnel are not using their valuable hours on mundane tasks, such as cleaning and preparing cables, and instead can be more focused on their upcoming productions and strengthening those messages instead.
One of the nice benefits about SNAP is that it is also available in a multitude of colors, and so each department can separate their cables by color choice across trussing and mounting situations.
